Dear Steve,
Just a short letter to let you know the trip went well and it was all as advertised. Derek was a good host with a few wise tips, the interpreters were good and the girls all pretty. I met a very nice girl who I will be linking up again with, hopefully with a view to becoming Mrs Preston.
As for me, I saw new places, conquered obstacles, found love, saw a different perspective and culture, learnt words in a new language, viewed the history first hand that I had read about and met the people I was trained to fight as a soldier who as it turned out, were not really interested in being my enemy anyway. It was well worth the price of admission.
So thanks again. It was a great adventure and a fun time. |
